My work develops in time and through time. Time has unique characteristics that cannot be put into an experiment: the moment we try to study and look into time, it has already passed. So, what is time? This is a big question that has a lot of different aspects and approaches. With inspiration from Giorgio Morandi's Still Life 1946-1962, my works are genuine responses to questions that arise when exploring time through art and art through time.

I consider my practice to have a 'linear' approach instead of a 'non-linear' one. By ‘linear’, I consider time as a ‘physical’ reality which has its own intrinsic direction. It continuously moves in a straight line from past to present to future; which in turn generalizes the concept of causality. In my practice, instead of making a work to support the other one, I make everything with their own individual existence. By which I mean instead of perceiving everything as objects, I perceive things as beings.

This is a theory based research project which has contributed to my current art practice. It is purely my response to any question or idea that I have in the process of learning about time, art, reality as well as the subject-object relation. The subject-object relation as well as the nature of time and art can be ‘absolute, true and mathematical’ or ‘relative, apparent and common’ depending on our perception.
